If you are not ready to make the switch to the new model, the third-generation Silverado model continues for the 2020 model year as the Silverado LD. It is only available in three trim levels and all models come with the 5.3-liter V8 engine.
When you have heavy-duty towing and hauling needs, the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD is ideally suited to meet your needs. It is available as either a 2500 or 3500 model. Both models are available with either a Duramax® 6.6-liter Turbo-Diesel V8 or the standard Vortec® 6.0-liter V8.
